Congratulations! You have been selected to participate in theMicrosoft Partners in Learning Institute and the Global Forum on November 6 – 11, 2011 in Washington D.C.! You have stood out among educators in your country by demonstrating exceptional achievement in integrating technology into the classroom and focusing on 21st century skills.

As your local Microsoft Partners in Learning Manager (CC’d) may have shared, thepurpose of the Partners in Learning Institute is togrow innovative teaching and learning practices around the world through a cadre of teacher- trainers who will take what they’ve learned out to their communities to teach and coach other educators in effective teaching strategies for the 21st century. The Institute’s content will cover how to create learning activities that increase 21st century skills, how to use Information Communication Technology to support learning, and the application of specific Microsoft tools in a learning environment.

As one of 30 educators from around the world, you will have a special opportunity to practice your new skills by leading groups of educators on “Learning Excursions” – a series of visits to dynamic locations where the group will produce learning activities. In addition, you will be able to attend the Partners in Learning Global Forum – an annual event celebrating the world’s most innovative educators.

Please review the information below andreply to this email as soon as possible on whether or not you will attend. Should you accept the invitation, your local Partners in Learning Manager will work with you on travel and registration details.Per below, Microsoft will be covering travel and lodging costs as well as most meals.
